Introducing 50 kb DNA Synthesis
Break the length barrier. Build without limits.
Let us do the assembly for you.
Ansa’s 50 kb DNA synthesis offering marks a new era in synthetic biology, where DNA length is no longer a constraint on what scientists can design or build. Whether you’re building a new chassis organism, designing an entire viral vector from scratch, or scaling up from lab bench to biomanufacturing, Ansa’s long DNA capabilities ensure you won’t be held back by synthesis constraints.
- Market-Changing Pricing
Ansa offers a continuously decreasing price curve from 7.5 kb to 50 kb, meaning the cost per base pair drops as DNA length increases. And with pricing as low as $0.28/bp, large-scale projects are now more affordable than ever. - Speed That Accelerates Discovery
With standard turnaround times starting at 25 business days, you’re equipped to move faster from design to experimentation. - Unrivaled Quality You Can Trust
Every construct is fully sequence verified and QC-tested, so you receive reliable, ready-to-use DNA. No surprises, no delays. - Proudly Made in the USA
Our DNA synthesis, assembly, and quality control all happen domestically, ensuring the highest standards.
All products are manufactured in the USA and shipped globally. Biosecurity screening is done in accordance with the guidance of US Department of Health and Human Services’ Screening Framework Guidance for Providers and Users of Synthetic Nucleic Acids before being synthesized.
Let us get you the complex DNA you need to achieve new scientific breakthroughs.

XL Clonal Vector Map & Sequence
Ansa’s XL Clonal DNA uses a specific vector optimized for long, complex sequences. Download the vector map and sequence.
I’m interested in the XL Clonal DNA and my sequence is longer than 7.5 kb. Which vectors are available for >7.5 kb sequences?
We provide 7,501 bp – 50,000 bp in pStable-Ind-Chlor-v1.1, a single-copy vector that can be induced to mid-copy number using arabinose. Very large plasmids can be difficult to propagate in E. coli using higher copy vectors. This backbone ensures more reliable propagation during cell growth while enabling you to obtain a much higher yield than you could obtain with a single-copy vector. This higher yield is achieved by inducing the copy number after most of the cell growth has already happened.

What timeline can I expect my project to be provided?
We aim for competitive turnaround times (TAT) depending on your size and format.
- DNA fragments (200–900 bp) ship in as few as 4 business days.
- Clonal DNA (100 bp–7.5 kb) ships in as little as 11 business days.
- XL Clonal DNA (7.5 kb–50 kb) ships in as few as 25 business days.
Shipment times are dependent on when your order is placed. Reach out to your account manager or email us at customerservice@ansabio.com for more details.
What exactly does the Ansa On-Time Guarantee (AOTG) Program guarantee?
AOTG guarantees that your order will be completed and shipped on or before the expected ship date. If any part of your order fails to meet this date for DNA Fragments and Clonal DNA (100 bp – 7.5 kb) orders, the entire order is free—no exceptions.
For larger orders, such as XL Clonal DNA (7.5 kb–50 kb), Ansa may handle the order in separate groups, each with its own guaranteed shipping schedule. The sequences in each group will be assigned a guaranteed shipping date, as applicable. This ensures customers can confidently plan their work, reducing the uncertainty associated with legacy DNA synthesis vendors. It underscores Ansa’s confidence in its technology and its commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction.
